When I boil what I do down
to its most essential part, what I’m left with is this:

I MAKE MEANING.

Whether building an organization’s identity from the ground up, or refining an existing brand, as a meaning maker my mission is to evoke depth and authenticity for organizations seeking true resonance.

This work begins in the abstract cloud of ideas and imagination, but comes alive most powerfully in the tangible space where strategy, language, and product experience meet.

At the heart of my work is a deep curiosity about what drives people—what they value, what they need, and what really moves them. This curiosity fuels my ability to cut through complexity and meaningfully map what’s available in an offering to its intended audience.

The clients who appreciate my work most are those who seek innovation across all areas—product, brand, communications, marketing, and design. They partner with me because they trust me to probe into the unexamined, uncover hidden insights, and illuminate potential that’s often overlooked in the day-to-day, or simply difficult to see from within.

I thrive in collaboration with early-stage, VC-backed startups creating companies from 0 to 1. But, I’m equally energized to work with well-established businesses up to big things, across sectors. Creative agencies also partner with me on a variety of client projects as a trusted collaborator.

The through-line of it all? The orgs I team up with—those operating at the intersection of business and purpose, creating tech-forward products and services that aim to improve life for the people they serve.

BACKGROUND

  • My four years of art school taught me how to get a message across to an audience, via visual and conceptual storytelling—skills that serve me to this day.

  • My graduate work is where I honed my craft, developing the ability to weave ideas into compelling narratives, bringing depth and clarity to complex concepts.

  • I started my career in the non-profit sector, but transitioning to tech startups ignited a new passion: building brands from the ground up. Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked in various roles—senior leader at a small company, independent contributor at a global organization, creative agency team member, and now, as a consultant, a go-to resource for all three.

  • Having spent over a decade living outside of the United States, I have an international perspective that allows me to create brands that connect on a global scale.
